1.New np-bd1 digital camera battery come in a discharged condition and must be fully charged before use it. Upon initial use the sony digital camera battery pack may require three - four charge/discharge cycles to reach its maximum rated capacity.

Remove the battery from its charger and reinsert it again.The charge cycle should begin. This may happen several times during the first battery charge. 3.Fully charging and then fully discharging NPBD1 sony digital camera batteries at least once every two to three weeks.
